I was lucky enough to receive derhay's gypsy-themed mix in an EC trade, and I've been enjoying it all weekend. It's precisely the sort of concept mix I wish I could pull off. And it promotes all sorts of romantic feelings to get out there and travel around Eastern Europe. The flow of the whole thing was excellent but the Venus in Furs cover by DeVotchKa was a particular standout.

Wow...thats all I can say..well, i can say alot of things but gosh, i'm sure no one is listening.
I have been the recipient of a rather awesome mix by derhay! I have been lax in reporting the listings and I am here to correct all ills with my mixclub performance. I have sent off a late mix to..well..you probably know already since you're still waiting for it.
Back to derhay's mix(s)! Its a double dose of pure musical fun from the Dec round!

It's entitled: Just Add Car Chase with what I precieve to be either a '67chevy impala or a '71 nova or monte carlo on the cover. What? my glasses are dirty! I do believe the songs follow how a car chase might play out!

1. 13th Floor Elevators - You're Gonna Miss me (Holy Crap! Its the tune from High Fidelity. In that context it can fit on the first mix too! ha! but for this context, this is just the beginning of it all...)
